Holy smokes. In two days, it will be a full 30 days since I've posted a blog. I have no excuses except that life happens, and you have to deal with what is in front of you. I also realized next week is my birthday. I'm inching closer to 30, and I don't really like it. That is an entirely different story, for a different day.
My birthdays are usually low-key and spent with my Dad/stepmomma. Again, that thing called life changed our plans this year. Joe is pretty great at getting me a really thoughtful gift for my birthday. For the past few weeks he's been hinting around and asking what I really want. Of course, I couldn't think of a thing. Which got me to thinking.... Hello?! A wish list. Some are entirely unrealistic, but some are within reason. (Also, I'm making this list, so when Christmas rolls around I'll have a reference point. HAHA!) For the record these are in NO order (maybe except the first and last one- they might be my favorite favorites)- just typing as they come to mind.
1. A subscription to Owlcrate- There are a million monthly subscriptions out there, but this one in particular is geared towards readers, and readers who enjoy Young Adult (YA) books. Plus, they include some really awesome book related items. If you've not heard of it, it's definitely worth checking out. Owlcrate Website
2. Cricut- I just think it would be neat to have one of these, so I can sticker all of my possessions. I also need more cats on my stick family decal. (Kidding, but... really though.) I have a few friends who own one and make the cutest things! This takes my childhood sticker obsession to a whole new level. You can find more info Here :)
3. Amazon Firestick- Yes, we already own one of these, but I want one for the bedroom too! We cut cable/satellite some time ago and solely rely on Hulu/Netflix for entertainment. I've especially grown to love our Firestick in the living room. I would even take one without the voice control. If you're a prime member and you don't have one of these... you are missing out!! It is well worth the $40-50 to purchase. In case you needed help finding the link- Here :)
4. Frozen, The Little Mermaid, and/or Mary Poppins on DVD- Yes, I'm in my late 20s, and I still enjoy Disney movies. I have a few in my collection, but I am always looking to add more.
5.Juicy Couture Crossbody- I looked at this in store over the weekend, and now... I realize I really want it. It's the softest, shiniest pink. Aghhhhh.... drool. Check it out Here :)
6. Charm Bracelet- I had a charm bracelet through middle school and high school. Then... one night at the movies the ball came loose, and I lost all but 4-5 charms. I was heartbroken. By the time I realized they were missing, the movie theater had already swept and cleaned the theater. It was forever lost.
My super, super unrealistic (for now) wish list item: KitchenAid stand mixer!!! Any color, any model.
I'm sure there are some of other items I could list, but these were the first to come to mind. For example, I didn't even include beauty related products ( because I am pretty sure I did a beauty wish list not too long ago). Here's to counting down the days until I am one year older...
